Day Two: Back at Home

Today went very well, slept quite a bit more than I did on day one, and the New IV was a lifesaver.  I think they just had a small vain in the initial IV.

Didn't snack as much today either but I had a little bigger lunch than yesterday.  Nurses and staff are all rock stars at this place, they all have really good moods (so far) and its fun to joke around with them.  I think they enjoy seeing some young people even though they'd rather not at the same time.

I played a bit of my XBox and kept up with the blog while I wasnt sleeping, and the day went by pretty fast and smooth.

Overall, it was another good day, heres hoping to keeping up the good days.

Was great to hear you had such a good day. Sounds like this is a very caring place and is trying to make this as easy on you as possible. Glad the iv is in a better spot and more comfortable. Now a good night at home with Sarah and the boys and maybe a good meal and some rest and you will be ready for tomorrow.
Hang in there kiddo, you are coming to the end of this shortly. Talk to you tomorrow when we read your blog. Love All of Us

  5. Hey Kirk, glad you had a good day. I just got off the phone with my older sister, who lives in Crystal Lakes, IL, and she is going for her last chemo treatment this week. She has breast cancer. She's in good spirits and it makes me happy that you both are being so strong and positive. Keep posting your progress, it's inspiring!
