Thought for my first blog post, it would help anyone who wanted to read or stumbled upon this blog to have a little background information about myself to clear up any assumptions I may make in later posts. My name is Kirk, and I am a 30 year old Elementary Teacher currently working as a Teaching Assistant. I am happily married with two beautiful sons. I recently moved back to the Chicagoland area and enjoy Hockey, Mixed Martial Arts, Rugby, Football and Gaming.
Im hoping to use this blog to get some of my feelings out there, and possibly get some insight from other TC survivors as well as help to reach other people who may have questions about TC. I will be posting on my medical status, overall well being as well as my experiences with chemo therapy.
Hope that you either enjoy or find this information useful in some way.
Henceforth, Testicular Cancer will be referred to as "TC".
